Expectations!
- Respect and commitment: Being on time, not looking up mechs/strats for the fight. No spoilers!
- Maturity: Be able to take and give constructive criticism, and know the difference.
- Ultimate ready: Know your job/role and have your gearset/food/pots on arrival.
- Consistency: Practice required so we can get to and solve the next mech.
- Voice chat: No mic needed, but able to join, listen and still type.
- Communication: Both in-game and off-days, making sure to keep up with theorycrafting and other issues that might arise. And especially pings and DMs.
Rules: Times are when we commence. There is a 10 minute window for arriving prepared before that time. We will meet within the open world to allow for marker usage outside of instance. Missing too many repeated days or being late consistently will result in review. Our time is limited, so we have to make the most of it. Please consider that before committing to the times. Any add-on that helps you resolve and play mechanics are not allowed. Not even Pixel Perfect. We've always found out, and will find out. Don't try it. If you have something to say about someone, say it to their face in a respectful or constructive manner. Sternness is not an attack, but we will not tolerate talking about people negatively behind their backs. It'll find it's way to public for transparency.
Introduction
The majority of us are completely fresh to Weapon's Refrain, although we have people whom have either seen some mechs or are a long-time veteran of content. They have promised to sandbag on things they know. But we're all still confident and ready to do our best to match.
Goals: Goals are to complete the Ultima's Weapon Refrain as blind as possible. That means without using guides or toolboxes and using our own strats/raidplans that we develop through communication and teamwork. We will be using O8S as a benchmark to help achieve this. To counter job buffs and stat squish, we will be using unique gearsets and food, etc, to make the dps check tighter, like an Ultimate should be. If you read all this, please include what raiding means to you in your next DM.
