Looking for a beginner-friendly group that is casual/semi-casual but still ready to tackle hard progs. Ready to learn and take constructive criticism as I have a thick skin. I'm always worried about disappointing my team, and use that to drive my progress. Hoping for a group that is patient with beginner raiders. Able to follow callouts somewhat blindly for mechanics I don't have a good grasp on. Give me the space to grow and learn, and I'll be there.
Playtime: New-er player (started from scratch 11/2023, finished Endwalker MSQ a week before Dawntrail).
Input Method: I play on controller/PC, with keyboard for typing and occasional macros/movement adjustments.
Key Jobs: Gunbreaker main since ShB, rotation is mostly there. Also have Reaper at 100 but shaky on the rotation. Working to level Warrior (currently 74) right now, can probably level cap in a week. I can level Sage, but I am a notoriously crap healer. Happy to level and gear another job for a group if needed.
Availability: PST-based. Would like to avoid Fridays if possible. Late nights(7pm or later start) preferred over any other time slot. Definitely flexible, open to other times.
Experience
FF Logs 1 clear on M1S with (now defunct) static and several on Valigarmanda EX with FC. Started prog on Zoraal Ja EX (50%). Rusty ATM after major family emergency a few months ago (death in family). Want to get back up to speed fast and willing to put in the work to do it.
M1S info: Parsed like a corpse, died once to Raining Cats mess up. Want to de-rust and clean up the prog.
Defunct Static: Formed via PF. Several members stopped showing up with zero communication, so I left.
