slight newbie/not newbie looking for static for 7.2 i have been raiding since pandemonium but not fully raided till during the p9-p12s days. my fflogs is still not great but i really would love to improve alot and i think little by little i have improve despite my old pc crashing during that time. now with new pc i want to increase my parse so that hopefully people can let me join there team and raid for clears. week 1 clears was never the goal but will change to that if groups wanted a week 1 clear. im not a "must world 1st" guy, i want something less hardcore and a bit more casual raid content. i have always fail to join static and am a PF spammer. i want to end that so that i can learn to grow and improve my gameplay and hopefully people are willing and openly to teach me the correct rotations and help me build a better tank. i will NOT be the best player and will never never never hit rank 1 at all. that is not the goal, the goal is to join a static that excepts me for who i am and hopefully i have better raid fights than the m1-m4s cause as the guy that did not push myself i fail to clear m4s till the last minute before 7.2 and i admit that, that is my punishment for slacking and only playing this game for 2 out of 7 days. now cause i love this game, i want to really play this game and raid for 7 days. thank you for taking the time to read my short bio

note: i play ARR since release and did not complete it. did not sub until shadowbringers was release. finally caught up and beat shb during e9-e12s. did not fully experience raiding till EW aka p1-p12s. (imo)

it started with my co-workers who play this game since ARR until they stop in post EW, when i was new i finally able to enter the raid scene thanks to them. before that, when i complete shb, e9-e12 normal came out. i remember to still learn the mechanics of everything and i was just a WAR noob. i do not know any sorts of rotations, raid buffs, melds, food buffs, and even how the boss mechanics works. i was really really scare when the eden savages came out (again this is during e9s-e12s). so when my coworkers invite me to learn and prog e9s i was failing bad and got so scare until they taught me the fundamentals of the game. right before it (the raids)is unlock, i completed e9s and felt happy. however i rush e10 and e11s and felt overwhelmed and did not complete those on content.

flash forward to EW aka the pandy raids: p1-p4s release and that is my true wake up call. upon watching lots and lots of streams and entering random discords for tips and tricks, i saw something i never thought about and is also the reason why i fail the eden raids. (and its also the reason why i max ilvl crafters and gatherers but thats a different thing). food buffs and pots as well as 2 min and rotations is a thing i would never knew about. parses(really important to me now) is also a thing i wish i knew existed. it was bad... like really bad. im a grey parser during all first 8 fights (p1-p8s) but after checking the balance discord and practicing and practicing nonstop i finally for the first time hit green to blue during p5s-p8s days. now during all that my cowokers did not like my gameplay and also kind of (not really) attack me for very low damage. at the time i did not understand it cause i still consider myself new, and its cause i did not know that meta existed till now. at the same time and i think it was when second pandy tier was ending my coworkers move on to play other games cause they got bored of it but as for me, being a FF fan and also how this is the only MMO i went far i kept going to play and love it even more after knowing what to do. that is when p9-p12s came and i clear p9s week one. im very proud i finally did it however p10s-p12s i took way too much time to clear but thanks to the info of balance as well as other people i raid with i have (imo) gotten better. reaching green to blue parses as well as purple parses for the ew ex trials i was happy. now i want to improve more and hopefully to find groups that takes me in and learn how raiding works better.

i have never clear ultimates. only prog 1st to second phase of ucob, uwu, and tea. im also down to learn and prog and hopefully clear ultimates as well. please note that im still scare to do those.
